I found the lion that saved me
He lay asleep on a hill
His paws all covered in ashes
His mouth still fresh from the kill

He showed himself as a wise one
never to speak without thought
within creation his genius
I know he is what I am not

He let me sleep in his arms

The lion roared out his thunder
he overtook the strong man
